Mahj & Garden was born at the intersection of my two greatest joys: cultivating a garden and hosting friends for mahjong. Drawn from the elegance of the natural world and the warmth of Southern traditions, my creations honor those small, thoughtful touches that elevate every gathering.

Mahj & Garden grew from my two favorite pastimes:  gardening and gathering around the mahjong table.  Inspired by the beauty of nature, Southern hospitality, and the friendships made over a game, my designs celebrate the little details that make time together special.

My foundation is rooted in horticulture and educational journalism, yet my true life's work has been raising my family and dedicating myself to the community. Whether I am volunteering with a local club, nurturing pollinator habitats, or serving at church, my passion lies in learning new skills, fostering growth and connection through every project I undertake.
